Koi brush pens are large nib brush pens and come in a range of vibrant colours. They are water soluble and great for blending with either the colourless Koi blending pen or water. I would not suggest using them as a complete beginner, but once you have tried brush lettering and are comfortable with this style of calligraphy then they are a great option as a larger brush pen.
